Desktop 003

This is an object I made recently out of polymer clay. I crumpled piece of paper and covered it with clay. Then, I poked holes in it with a mechanical pencil. Not too difficult, but it becomes something more dynamic in the photo. Ps- it's for sale: $1,000 (nerp)

Fresh off the Prototyper

Here are some quick pictures of my latest 3D prints. They are objects made in Form-Z by affecting the geometry through the light and dark points of an image. My sources were images with gradient patterns, google earth images, and a color wheel. The light areas of the images pushed the geometry up and the darker areas styed low. I can explain more if anyone wants to know.

I really enjoy pairing photos, maybe more than taking them. Here are the first few of the summer.

Flowers

Recently, I had my laptop stolen from me and one of my reactions was to buy a new sketchbook and markers. Here are some drawings I made of a flower I found on the sidewalk--every petal ladened with sorrow and analogue pain.

SOME CHANGES ARE ABOUT

As you can see, my blog has been affected a bit by a server change. I'm going to start new now that I'm done with school. I'll try and re-post older entries that I think would be of interest.

Here is a small drawing/painting that I just finished for an upcoming show in Omaha, Nebraska.
